When two people decide to make a loving commitment to one another, to walk side by side along life's road, everyone wants to celebrate the love they have found in one another and to support them as they embark on their new life together. A wedding ceremony is a celebration and it's also a time for the couple to make vows to one another, vows that will give them strength and confidence through all the years of their lives. If you are beginning to plan a wedding - heartfelt congratulations!! The ceremonies I co-create with couples are not legally binding - in the UK, you need a registrar or minister of religion to be legally married - many couples wishing for a more personalised, heart-felt ceremony go to the registry office the day before, or in the morning, to legalise their union.
What I can offer, however, is the freedom to create a ceremony that is personal and meaningful to you - held anywhere at any time without the usual restrictions of a licensed wedding venue. So, for example, you could hold your wedding ceremony in the evening, in the garden or somewhere that is special and significant to you. We also have freedom to find exactly the right words, incorporate simple rituals such as handfasting or exchange rings or some other token of love.
